Contemplative Centering Prayer

Centering Prayer
Centering Prayer

Centering Prayer is a simple prayer, saying “yes” to the invitation from God, as in Psalm 46 “Be Still, and know that I am God.” This prayer practice provides a simple and gentle method to quiet our minds and hearts, so that we create space within us for God to be God in our lives. All we have to do in Centering Prayer is to show up, exercising our intention to be with God, and the rest is God’s.

In our monthly four-hour meeting, we sit two sessions of Centering Prayer, 25 minutes each, with a contemplative walk in between. After the Centering Prayer sessions, we have different programs to enrich our spiritual life.

If you are interested in learning this simple prayer, please join us. If you are already a practitioner of Centering Prayer who is looking for a community, you will find a loving and supportive community who are committed to this transformative practice as a way to be deepen your relationship with God.
